Ghana’s young will keep the country peaceful and stable before, during, and after the general elections in 2024, according to Vice President Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia.
The youth, he noted, will continue to behave in this manner since they have consistently shown harmony in their affairs.
The New Patriotic Party (NPP) flagbearer posted this on Facebook following his duty as the reviewing officer for today’s 70th anniversary of the National Cadet Corps & Cadet Youth Parade at Black Star Square.
“I was the reviewing officer at the 70th anniversary of the National Cadet Corps & Cadet Youth Parade at the Black Star Square today.”
“I underscored the significant role the Cadet plays and made the advocacy that it is time for various security agencies to take a critical look at unearthing brilliant talents from the National Cadet Corps and other sister volunteer youth groups by giving them some quota and the opportunity when it comes to recruiting and enlisting into the various security services.” he said.
“I also expressed confidence that the youth of Ghana as they have done in the past will maintain the peace and stability of Ghana before, during, and after the 2024 General elections.” he added.
