Kofi Kwarko Gyan, better known as Kiki Gyan, was a Ghanaian musician and keyboardist born on 7th January 1957 in Takoradi, Ghana.
He was a founding member of the popular Ghanaian band, Osibisa, and later went on to have a successful solo career as a disco and funk musician.


Gyan began his music career at a young age, playing with various bands in Ghana before joining Osibisa in the 1970s. He played keyboard for the band and contributed to several of their albums, including “Superfly T.N.T.” and “Ojah Awake”.
In the late 1970s, Gyan left Osibisa and moved to Nigeria to pursue a solo career. He released several albums and became known for his unique blend of disco and funk music with African rhythms. Some of his popular songs include “Disco Dancer,” “24 Hours in a Disco,” and “Keep On Dancing”.
Despite his success, Gyan struggled with drug addiction and passed away on 10th June 2004 at the age of 47. He is remembered as one of Ghana’s most talented and innovative musicians, and his music continues to be celebrated and sampled by contemporary artists around the world.
