Hon. Muntaka Mohammed-Mubarak, Ghana’s interior minister, has praised the World Food Programme (WFP) for their invaluable work in responding to emergencies and disasters in Ghana and has strengthened their collaboration with the organization.
These statements were delivered by Hon. Muntaka when Madam Aurore Rusiga, the WFP’s Country Director, paid him a courtesy call in his Accra office.
Madam Rusiga emphasized WFP’s ongoing assistance to NADMO, which has included capacity-building initiatives, emergency food aid, and logistics support.
Madam Rusiga and Hon. Muntaka also discussed how the Ministry and its agencies may benefit from utilizing WFP’s resources and experience.
