The National Identification Authority (NIA) has disclosed that, as promised to MPs on February 28, 2023, it has finished printing the backlog of 541.529 cards in its database in ten days.
This information was disclosed by the NIA in a statement issued by the NIA’s Corporate Affairs on March 29, 2023.
All Ghanaians who have registered for the card since July 2022 but haven’t yet received them are guaranteed to do so starting on Wednesday, April 5, 2023, according to NIA.

The EC has instructed the aforementioned people to go to the district or regional NIA offices where they registered for their printed cards.
