Education Minister meets with representatives from the Zimbabwean Embassy in Ghana

Members of Parliament, committee officials, and representatives from the Zimbabwean Embassy in Ghana made a courtesy call on Hon. Haruna Iddrisu, the Minister of Education, in Accra as part of a larger study visit that aims to investigate Ghana’s educational system, innovation ecosystem, and industrial development hubs.

Ghana’s comprehensive education reforms, policy orientation, and ongoing initiatives to improve access, equity, quality, and relevance at all educational levels were presented to the group by the education minister.

Through STEM promotion, digital transformation, and technical and vocational training, he underlined the government’s commitment to coordinating education with the nation’s development strategy.

The two sides had a productive discussion about how to use science and technology to boost economic growth, how to innovate in education, and how to administer higher education.
