The Ghana National Gas Limited Company’s maintenance crew has successfully finished the planned maintenance tasks ahead of schedule, turning over the facility to the operational unit so that regular operations can continue.
Originally projected by the Ministry of Energy and Green Transition to take 14 days, the work was finished in record time.
Important tasks completed included:
Servicing of the Heat Medium System
Calibration of Safety Systems
Overhaul of the Transmission Compressor
Ms. Judith Adjobah Blay, the CEO, praised the technical and maintenance staff for their commitment and cooperation.
She pointed out that their cooperation and dedication were crucial to finishing the assignment quickly and on time.
According to Mr. Maxwell Kali, acting general manager of engineering and maintenance, the plant should stabilize and start delivering the anticipated amounts of gas in a matter of hours.
Following the successful completion of the maintenance exercise, Mr. Sampson Doe, Acting General Manager of Operations, also voiced optimism regarding seamless operations in the days ahead.
