The convicted MASLOC boss, Sedinam Tamakloe Attionu, has an arrest warrant out for her from the Criminal Division of the High Court in Accra, which is presided over by Justice Lydia Osei Marfo.

The Prosecution, represented by Assistant State Attorney Yvonne Yaache-Adomako, requested the order in order to get an arrest warrant for Sedina Tamakloe, who is not in this country, so that she may serve her 10-year sentence of hard labor in jail.

On April 16, 2024, the former CEO of the Microfinance and Small Loans Centre (MASLOC) and the former head of operations were found guilty on 78 counts of causing a financial loss to the state amounting to 90 million. They were both sentenced to 10 years in prison.

Sedinam Tamakloe was given permission to seek medical attention in 2021, but she refused to return, thus her trial and conviction were handled in absentia. As a result, her prison sentence is still ongoing.

In asking the court to grant their motion, the prosecution stated that they had shown enough justification to have an arrest warrant issued.
