To resolve ties in the election results from the District Level Elections (DLE) on December 19, the Electoral Commission (EC) has declared it would hold a run-off.
The EC claims that after the results are tallied, the procedure is conducted in accordance with the District Level Elections Regulations, 2015 (C.I. 89).
There will be elections worldwide on Tuesday, January 9 in 20 electoral areas for Assembly members and 41 electoral districts for Unit Committee members.
There will be eleven regions where the election will be held: Savannah, Eastern, Volta, Oti, Bono East, and Ashanti.
