Residents and guests of Kwahu have been guaranteed a steady and continuous power supply throughout the forthcoming Easter festivities by the Electricity Company of Ghana (ECG).
Engineer Mark Wilson, the Mpraeso District Manager, claims that ECG has taken proactive steps to ensure dependable electricity during the celebrations.
In order to guarantee a sufficient supply during the peak demand time, he said the company has carried out extensive maintenance on its infrastructure and is collaborating closely with power generation and transmission partners.
“As part of our preparations, we’ve undertaken routine checks and preventive maintenance to avoid outages and ensure a smooth experience for all celebrating Easter in Kwahu,” Engineer Wilson said.
Additionally, he urged consumers to pay off any unpaid electricity bills as soon as possible to prevent service outages throughout the holiday season.
“Timely payment of bills not only helps avoid disconnections but also contributes to our ability to maintain a consistent and reliable power supply,” he continued.
The ECG guarantee is a component of larger initiatives to promote a happy, secure, and well-powered Easter celebration in the Kwahu region, which draws sizable crowds each year for one of Ghana’s liveliest celebrations.
