The results of the 12-member committee tasked with looking into the National Patriotic Party’s (NPP) loss in the 2024 general elections were delivered to the party’s national leadership on Wednesday, April 16.

The committee’s chairman, Prof. Aaron Mike Oquaye, and his staff gave the party the official paperwork at the occasion, which took place at the Alisa Hotel in Accra.

Party leaders such as former President Nana Akufo-Addo, Vice President Dr. Bawumia, former running mate Dr. Matthew Opoku Prempeh, Minority Leader Alexander Afenyo-Markin, and the party’s general secretary, Justin Kodua, were among those there.

The goal of the investigation was to determine the reason for the party’s electoral failure and how to deter similar actions in the future.

Prof. Mike Oquaye declined to comment on the document when the findings were presented to the party.

The results have not yet been made public by the party.
