The Ghana Football Association (GFA) has reminded the football community that tickets for the FIFA World Cup 2026 will only be made available by FIFA on an unspecified date in May 2026.
The Association states that no tickets have yet been issued to any applicants, including those who made direct purchases via the FIFA ticketing platform on the official website.
This implies that when FIFA starts distributing tickets, Ghanaian fans who applied on their own and those who obtained them through the GFA will receive them simultaneously.
Supporters who bought tickets via the GFA’s official channels were reassured that plans were in place to guarantee prompt delivery.
The established procedures will be triggered to guarantee that fans receive their allotments promptly after FIFA delivers the tickets to the Association.
The GFA Communications department’s statement further emphasised the tremendous demand for tickets for the worldwide event, pointing out that the GFA Football Community’s limited supply was greatly exceeded.
In spite of this, the Association highlighted its dedication to openness and stated that it has regularly disseminated all pertinent FIFA communications to assist Ghanaians both domestically and internationally.
Additionally, fans were urged to keep using the official FIFA ticketing platform, where most of the tournament’s tickets are now available.
