Ms. Judith Adjobah Blay, Chief Executive Officer of Ghana National Gas Limited Company, has called on young women to embrace competence, integrity and accountability as they prepare for leadership roles in Ghana.
The Ghana Gas CEO made the call while participating in the inaugural edition of The Vantage Forum, organised by the University of Ghana Medical Laboratory Sciences Students’ Association.
The forum, held under the theme “Competence and Consequence: Women, Health and National Leadership,” provided an important platform for discussions on women’s leadership, professional development, healthcare and national development.
Judith Adjobah Blay Speaks on Women and Critical Infrastructure
Speaking on the topic “Powering a Country: Women at the Command of Ghana’s Critical Infrastructure,” Judith Adjobah Blay shared lessons from her leadership experience and encouraged young women to prepare themselves for opportunities that may arise in their careers.

She urged participants to demonstrate competence, commitment, accountability and excellence regardless of the professional field they choose.
According to her, women must be ready to deliver when entrusted with leadership responsibilities and should continuously develop their skills to make meaningful contributions to Ghana’s development.
Ghana Gas CEO Encourages Young Women to “Live Pure”
Judith Adjobah Blay also encouraged the young women to “live pure” by maintaining integrity, discipline and strong moral values.
She challenged the participants to pursue their dreams with courage, determination and purpose, stressing that personal development and meaningful societal impact are shaped by the choices individuals make every day.
Her message highlighted the importance of ethical leadership, women empowerment and career development in preparing the next generation of female leaders in Ghana.
Distinguished Speakers Attend The Vantage Forum
The inaugural Vantage Forum brought together prominent personalities from healthcare, politics, media and public service.
Among the speakers were Dr. Bernice Makafui Brempong, Presidential Staffer responsible for Health and Pharmaceuticals at the Office of the President; Dr. Fiona Braka, Country Director of the World Health Organization (WHO) in Ghana; Hon. Fatimatu Abubakar, former Minister for Information; and Ms. Nana Aba Anamoah, media personality and Founder of Women of Valour.
The speakers encouraged participants to identify opportunities, build their professional capabilities and remain committed to strong ethical values.
They also urged the young women to use their knowledge, education and professional skills to create positive change and contribute to Ghana’s social and economic development.
The forum further underscored the growing importance of women in leadership, healthcare, critical infrastructure and national development, while inspiring young women to prepare for meaningful leadership roles.
