The Bank of Ghana has highlighted Ghana’s improving economic outlook and growing investor confidence following the launch of the Ghana Investment Promotion Centre (GIPC) 2025 Annual Investment Report on Friday, August 22, 2026.
Speaking at the launch held at the Bank Square in Accra, Bank of Ghana Governor, Dr. Johnson Pandit Asiama, said Ghana’s ongoing economic recovery is helping to create a more stable, predictable and business-friendly environment for local and international investors.

Dr. Asiama stressed that investor confidence remains a key driver of economic growth, noting that businesses are more likely to commit capital to countries where economic policies are credible, institutions are reliable and market conditions are predictable.
According to the Bank of Ghana Governor, Ghana attracted approximately US$2.61 billion in new investments through 253 projects in 2025.
The latest investment figures highlight sustained interest in Ghana’s economy and reinforce expectations that improved macroeconomic stability could support increased foreign direct investment, private sector growth and job creation.
The development also underscores the importance of continued economic reforms, sound monetary policy and efforts to strengthen Ghana’s investment climate as the country seeks to attract more capital for sustainable economic development.
