In Abirem, Eastern Region, 30 NDC members defect to the NPP.

In the Abirem Constituency, at least thirty (30) NDC members have switched to the ruling New Patriotic Party.

The other members of the Abirem NDC’s branch chairman, Mr. Issah, indicated that their decision to defect to the NPP was made unanimously and was supported by the extraordinary performance of Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, the party’s flagbearer.

In this year’s December 7 polls, he claimed that Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia’s ideas and visions for Ghana surpass those of all other candidates.

“We’ve weighed the two major candidates in this year’s election, undoubtedly, Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia’s ideas and visions surpass all of them and that’s the reason we decided to join the Flagbearer train”,
