The Hon. Minister for Works and Housing, Francis Asenso-Boakye led the visiting South African Minister for Human Settlements, Hon Mmamololo Kubayi (MP) to pay a courtesy call on the President of the Republic, His Excellency Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo, at the Jubilee House, the seat of our nation’s presidency.

The Minister who is on a three-day bilateral visit to Ghana, was accompanied by Her Excellency Grace Jeanet Mason, the South African High Commissioner to Ghana.

The Minister stated that the historical ties between the two nations are of significant importance, especially with the recent agreement between Ghana and South Africa to grant visa exemptions for ordinary passport holders.

He said this move would not only, strengthen the diplomatic bond of friendship and cooperation between the two countries, but will also, foster trade, tourism, and cultural exchange.
