Ministry of Livestock and Fisheries of Tanzania and Ministry of Blue Economy of Fisheries of Zanzibar paid a courtesy call on the Ministry of Fisheries and Aquaculture Development
A delegation from the Ministry of Livestock and Fisheries of Tanzania and the Ministry of Blue Economy of Fisheries of Zanzibar paid a courtesy call on the Ministry of Fisheries and Aquaculture Development to discuss cooperation between the two countries.
They were received by the Chief Director of the Ministry Ms. Marin W.A. Kpakpah and some directors of the Ministry.
Issues discussed included Blue Economy and Sea Weed Farming.
The blue economy is an economic system that seeks to conserve marine and freshwater environments while using them in a sustainable way to develop economic growth and produce resources such as energy and food.
