If it were fully operational as he claims, why was the country renting a private jet for the former president? Were you just in the mood to waste money?
The real embarrassment is how we’ve reduced something as critical as presidential safety to cheap political games. Both sides know better, yet look at them.
I’m surprised some appointees are suddenly outraged because the opposition is calling them out over the President using his brother’s PJ.
You’d do the exact same thing if roles were reversed. The Presidential jet was a massive agenda before the elections. You dished it, so take it.
And let’s not pretend the NPP is clueless either. They know very well the presidential jet isn’t up to standard, yet they’re happy to weaponise the issue for politics. I’d fly in my brother’s jet too if I were President. Sagaaa.
That presidential jet Ibrahim happily describes as ‘fully operational’ is simply not good enough. He knows it, they all know it.
Both parties only shout ‘conflict of interest’ only when it makes them look good. You’re all morally bankrupt on that matter.
Leadership means telling the truth even when it’s inconvenient.
