On Tuesday, October 3, 2023, the National Lottery Authority (NLA) Governing Board, presided over by His Eminence, Torgbui Francis Seth Nyonyo, called on Former President H.E. John Agyekum Kufuor to express their condolences over the passing of his wife, Former First Lady Mrs. Theresa Kufuor.
The NLA delegation sent their sincere condolences to the family of Former President John Agyekum Kufuor while surrounded by family and well-wishers.
His Eminence Torgbui Francis Seth Nyonyo, the Board Chairman, signed the Book of Condolence on behalf of the National Lottery Authority.
From 2001 to 2008, Mrs. Theresa Kufuor served as the First Lady of Ghana. She passed away on October 1, 2023. She was a committed nurse and midwife as well. She passed away at 87 years old.
The delegation also included the Board Secretary, Mrs. Akua Agyeman Appiah-Poku, the Director-General, Mr. Samuel Awuku, Mr. Philip Kofi Aning, Madam Joana Frances Adda, Mrs. Annor Kumi, and Mrs. Annor Kumi.
