The main highway from the Ofankor-China Mall stretch, with the exception of the Amasaman Interchange region, will open to traffic by the end of September 2024, providing commuters using the Ofankor-Nsawam road with a sense of relief.
The construction crew is “working assiduously to complete sections of the project and open to traffic to reduce the current negative impact on the travelling public by the end of September,” according to Ing. Kwabena Bempong, Chief Resident Engineer for the Project.
When President Nana Akufo-Addo, along with Hon. Francis Asenso-Boakye and Hon. Mohammed Amin Adam, examined the project’s development, Ing. Bempong revealed this.
The President expressed his admiration for the caliber of work being completed and requested that the contractor provide value for money in completing the significant project for the Ghanaian people.
