Ghanaian makeup artist Roselyn Akosua Mantey, who set a new Guinness World Record by applying makeup to more than 120 persons in 5 days, was honored by Hon. Abla Dzifa Gomashie, Minister for Tourism, Culture, and Creative Arts!
“You’ve become a beacon for what’s possible when talent meets hard work,” the Minister stated during a special ceremony at the Ministry.
Akosua’s accomplishment demonstrates the strength of talent, perseverance, and artistic brilliance.
Having taught more than 1,000 students in her nine years of experience, she now intends to start a school to empower more young women.
Stressing that culture is a vital component of both tourism and national identity, Hon. Gomashie called for national support for Roselyn Akosua Mantey and other creatives.
“Let’s showcase her story to the world. When we support local talent, we grow together,” she said.
