It has been reported by 3FM that some criminals in Bawku had set fire to the home of Mahama Ayariga, the Member of Parliament for Bawku Central.
It follows a few days before when police buildings were set on fire, according to the reports.
According to reports, there has been a recent attack in the region that has left one person missing and injured others to varying degrees.
The Majority Leader, who is also a member of parliament, condemned a recent gunshot incident in the neighborhood in a statement earlier this week.
He said that no law enforcement decision should be sent to his door.
