Dr. Edward Omane Boamah, the National Democratic Congress’s (NDC) director of elections and information technology, has demanded that the Electoral Commission revise its calendar.
“We hope the EC is not considering choking the already choked calendar,” he said, expressing his opinion that the EC’s initially announced calendar of operations has to be urgently revised to prevent stampeding as we approach December 07, 2024.
“Furthermore, the EC’s originally published calendar of activities requires urgent revision to avoid stampeding as we race closer to December 07, 2024.” he added.
This was disclosed in a social media post shared by Dr. Omane Boamah.
Additionally, he anticipates that the Electoral Commission will supply them with the final results of the limited voter registration drive following the correction of any inaccuracies.
