Fees and charges for services supplied by the Office of the Registrar of Companies (ORC) are due to rise on Monday, February 2, 2026.
According to the Office, the change is in accordance with the Fees and Charges (Miscellaneous Provisions) Regulations, 2025 (L.I. 2512), which require a review of fees and charges for services provided by public institutions.
The change will have an impact on all of the Office’s services nationwide.
According to a notice issued by the Office of the Registrar of Companies, the fee increase will apply to all of its services.
These consist of, but are not restricted to, business name registration, company incorporation, and other associated services.
The Office clarified that the goal of the change is to guarantee sustainable service delivery and enhance customer satisfaction nationwide.
The notice from the Office of the Registrar of Companies did not reveal the revised fees.
It did, however, note that in advance of the effective date, thorough information about the updated fees and charges will be made accessible at all Registrar offices around the country and posted on the Office’s official website.
Additionally, the Office has recommended all service users and the general public to be aware of the updated fees and to make the required preparations for transactions that will take place after the implementation date.
The move coincides with a larger effort by state ministries, agencies, and institutions to comply with the Fees and Charges Regulations, 2025, which were approved by Parliament.
Citing the need to preserve and enhance the quality of service delivery, the National Identification Authority announced an increase in costs for certain of its services last week.
