It has been reported that, as of Monday, April 7, 2025, Vice President Professor Naana Jane Opoku-Agyemang has started a three-week medical leave.
The vice president is taking a sabbatical after her doctor advised her to do so, according to sources in the Jubilee House.
She was reported to have developed an unexpected illness a few weeks prior, which prompted her to seek treatment at the University of Ghana Medical Centre in Accra before going overseas for more medical attention.
