At the Presidency today, Wednesday, September 10, 2025, President John Dramani Mahama will hold a Presidential Media Encounter with the country.

The President will discuss urgent national challenges and showcase advancements made under his Resetting Ghana Agenda at the 8:00 p.m. event.

According to a Presidency release, the meeting would give the media a chance to speak with the President directly about policies, existing initiatives, and other issues that the public finds important.

It is anticipated that accredited journalists would ask questions about a variety of topics impacting the nation.

“The encounter will provide a unique platform for President Mahama to engage the Ghanaian people, through the media, on pressing national issues, his Resetting Ghana Agenda, policies, and ongoing projects,” the statement read.

The Presidency further stated that accreditation will be the sole basis for participation.

The administration is looking forward to “a productive and engaging session with the media,” according to Felix Kwakye Ofosu, Minister for Government Communications and the President’s spokesperson.

Since taking office in January 2025, this will be the President’s first significant appearance in the media.
