World Children’s Day will be observed by Gender Ministry.

The Ministry of Gender, Children, and Social Protection, through the Department of Children, will celebrate World Children’s Day with the 7th Sitting of the National Children’s Parliament today, Thursday, November 20, 2025, at 9:00 a.m. in the African Trade House (near the British Council).

This year’s celebration is on the theme:

“My Day, My Right: Investing in Early Childhood, A National Priority.”

The event will emphasise the importance of early childhood development in ensuring that every kid has a good start in life, and it will argue for increased national investment in children’s growth, protection, and education.
