The Ghana Broadcasting Corporation (GBC), with cooperation from the Ghanaian government, has obtained exclusive terrestrial (Free-To-Air) broadcast rights for the FIFA World Cup 2026.
The partnership aims to guarantee that all Ghanaians may watch the Black Stars’ progress throughout the competition and have free access to the world football extravaganza.
A National Broadcast Consortium was formed by GBC as part of the rollout to oversee tournament coverage. The program, which was started at the government’s request, unites a few media partners under a common technical, marketing, and broadcasting framework with the goal of maximising national reach.
