The Electricity Company of Ghana (ECG) has announced a scheduled power interruption in parts of the Central Region as it carries out planned maintenance works to improve electricity supply and service delivery.

The maintenance exercise is scheduled for Thursday, August 27, 2026, from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Customers in the affected communities should expect a temporary power outage during the stated period.

Areas to Experience Power Outage

The ECG planned maintenance will affect the following areas:

  • CP
  • Larota
  • Lawyer
  • Kotonkole
  • Fiifi Prat
  • Millennium City
  • Nyanyano Township
  • Kojo Oku
  • Surrounding communities

ECG said the maintenance works form part of efforts to improve power supply reliability and electricity service delivery across the affected areas.

Residents, households and businesses within the listed communities are encouraged to make the necessary arrangements before the scheduled outage begins.

The Electricity Company of Ghana has apologised for the inconvenience caused by the temporary power interruption and expressed appreciation to customers for their understanding and cooperation.
