From today, Tuesday, October 15, to Saturday, October 19, 2024, the Electoral Commission will once again display the most recent version of the Provisional Voters Register (PVR) online.

This is consistent with the commission’s remarks made at the Inter Party Advisory Committee (IPAC) meeting, where the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC) voiced reservations over the provisional voter registration.

Many of the flaws brought up during the voters register’s initial public exhibition have reportedly been resolved, according to the commission.

However, in light of the concerns expressed over the nature of the discrepancies and in accordance with the decision made at an IPAC meeting, the amended provisional register will be exhibited once more, but online this time.

Voters can check their information for free via the short code 71151# as of today, October 15.

Also, voters can verify their information by visiting the EC website at https://ec.gov.gh.

“Voters should click on the pop-up link at the bottom-right corner of the screen and enter the 10-digit Voter ID number to receive their voter registration details.” EC stated.

“The Public should note that any discrepancies identified must be reported to the District Office of the Commission where they are registered voters for correction. Once the Re-Exhibition Exercise ends on Saturday, 19th October, voters will still be able to check their details Online but CANNOT request for correction of their details.”

The EC requested that anyone notice any inconsistencies and submit them to its District Office so that they can be fixed.

Additionally, it asked political parties to disclose any errors found during the re-exhibition period using the supplied Template.
