Another suspect, Elizabeth Akosua Ntiriwaa, also known as Akosua Black Chinese, has been taken into custody by the Ghana Police Service in relation to the violent disturbances that took place during the Sunday, February 2, 2025, football game between Nsoatreman FC and Kumasi Asante Kotoko FC, which led to the death of Francis Yaw Frimpong (Pooley), a Kotoko superfan.
The total number of suspects detained in relation to the event now stands at six.
At the moment, Elizabeth Akosua Ntiriwaa is being held by the police to help with the investigation.
“The intelligence-led operation and investigation are still ongoing to make sure all of the people involved in the incident are apprehended and prosecuted,” police said in a statement released on February 6.
