Professor Naana Jane Opoku-Agyemang, the NDC flagbearer’s running mate, has declared that she is fearless, self-assured, and proud of her age.
In reaction to remarks made by Majority Leader Afenyo-Markin in March 2024, Prof. Opoku-Agyemang issued this statement.
Effutu, a member of parliament (MP), called her a “old cargo” who, despite having important positions in the previous administration, had not fulfilled her mandate.
Prof. Opoku-Agyemang expressed her pride in her age and gratitude for it during a meeting with female media workers in Accra.
The 72-year-old former minister of education emphasized how important her wealth of knowledge and experience was to her position and the country.
