The speed and advancement of the Ofankor-Nsawam road project have pleased President Mahama.
Since the government paid the contractor over $70 million in arrears in September, the project has advanced significantly.
He said, “Exactly 90 days ago I was here because of the outcry from the traveling public about the nature of this particular stretch of road. I am quite impressed with the progress that has been made. I’ll urge the contractor to continue to push hard.”
The President was reassured by Hon. Kwame Governs Agbodza, Minister of Roads and Highways, that the project would be closely monitored to guarantee its prompt completion.
