The Ghana Airports Company Limited (GACL) has announced that the existing Terminal 3 car park at Accra International Airport will close on Monday, July 20, to allow for the development of a seven-story Multi-Purpose Car Park and Airport Hotel Complex.
The GACL stated that both stakeholders and the general public are affected by the shutdown in a public notification published on July 16, 2026.
The GACL built the Terminal 3 Car Park Annex, which can accommodate more than 600 cars, to guarantee parking availability throughout the transition time.
All airport visitors will be guided into and out of the new parking lot by parking attendants.
Throughout the transition time, the GACL asked all airport visitors and users to cooperate and show understanding.
