The Interior Minister, Hon. Muntaka Mohammed-Mubarak, met with all of the ministry’s agency heads for a discussion about how they can execute its mandate.

The Minister’s efforts to resolve the nation’s security issues and to fortify its security, including the upholding of law and order, began with this meeting.

As the Member of Parliament for Asawase, Hon. Muntaka reaffirmed the government’s unwavering commitment and emphasized the necessity of coordination and cooperation amongst the agencies in order to fulfill their mandate.

Heads of the Ghana Police Service, Ghana Prisons Service, Ghana National Fire Service, Ghana Immigration Service, National Disaster Management Organization, Narcotics Control Commission, Gaming Commission of Ghana, National Commission on Small Arms and Light Weapons, National Peace Council, Ghana Refugee Board, and National Identification Authority were among the agencies represented at the meeting, which was held at the Ministry of the Interior.
