In accordance with standing order 37 of the Ghanaian Parliament, I, Alban Sumana Kingsford Bagbin, Speaker of Parliament, hereby give notice that the Second Meeting of the Third Session of the Eighth Parliament of the Fourth Republic will begin on Tuesday, June 6, 2023, at 10:00 a.m. at Parliament House in Accra.
After a long night, the House adjourned on Friday, March 31, 2023, after contentiously passing three new tax proposals. On Tuesday, May 2, 2023, it was called back for a full day of proceedings to approve seven loan agreements totaling US$750 million for the financing of various government projects under the Akufo-Addo administration.
