The Ghana Navy formally transferred security responsibilities to the Ghana Army at the Presidency today during the 47th Change of Guards Ceremony at the Jubilee House, which was presided over by Vice President Jane Naana Opoku-Agyemang.
Ministers and other government representatives, a variety of security personnel, Jubilee House employees, and elementary school students all attended the occasion.
It had an outstanding drill demonstration, the customary changing of the guard, and was characterised by accuracy and discipline.
Observing Ghana’s security forces’ professionalism, commitment, and coordination as they continue to protect the nation’s capital and uphold the highest ideals of national service was a gratifying experience.
