President Mahama visits the Volta Region on a working visit

President John Dramani Mahama is on a his two-day #ResettingGhana Tour in the Volta Region this morning.

The visit begins in Juapong, where he will lay the groundwork for the development of eighteen (18) 24-hour Economy Model Markets spread throughout all of the region’s districts.

In addition to inspecting continuing construction of the Asikuma to Ho road as part of the Big Bush Program, the president will visit the University of Health and Allied Sciences (UHAS) in Sokode, the Peki College of Education (GOVCO), and the Akatsi North District’s District Police Headquarters.

Additionally, the President will host an educational durbar on the Free Primary Health Care initiative, accompanied by Ministers of State, Heads of Institutions, and Members of Parliament.

The president will hold a town hall meeting at the Ho Technical University on Friday in order to interact directly with the chiefs and locals.

This will give him and the administration a chance to get firsthand input on important regional development initiatives and policy actions.

In order to get firsthand knowledge about the Ho Sports Stadium’s current condition, President Mahama is also expected to visit.
