Suspect Nana Amo Abraham has been detained by the Ghana Police Service on suspicion of hurting his daughter, 20, at Twifo Praso in the Central Region.
According to the police investigation, the suspect physically abused his daughter after they had a fight and hurt her.
He will appear in court after being detained and cooperating with the inquiry.
In the meanwhile, the victim will be taken to the Police Hospital in Accra by the police, who have made arrangements for this.
