The “Forever” hitmaker stated in a heartfelt Facebook post that she doesn’t write music to compete or win prizes, but rather to provide her fans with something meaningful.
Writing, “I haven’t released music because I don’t do this to compete or win but rather to genuinely give what I have,” she emphasized her commitment to making music that is stirring and soulful.
In order to write songs that emotionally connect with listeners, the singer also disclosed that she takes breaks during her creative process.
“I go into my shells so I can give you music that feeds into your soul,” she stated.
Gyakie told her devoted followers that even when she is not in the spotlight, her voice can still be heard in her songs.
“Even if I may not be in front of you in person, I feel like my voice is always in your ears, and that makes me happy,” she said, urging her fans to keep streaming her songs.
She made the joyful announcement that her next album will be out shortly.
