Adamus Resources Limited has welcomed the government’s decision to establish a 12-month turnaround roadmap aimed at resolving challenges affecting the company and restoring the Adamus mine to sustainable operations.

The mining company described the outcome of a recent meeting at the Presidency as a “significant and constructive step forward” in efforts to secure the future of the mine and protect the interests of its employees, contractors, suppliers, host communities and other stakeholders.

Under the agreed framework, Adamus Resources, the Ministry of Lands and Natural Resources, and the Minerals Commission will work together to develop and implement the 12-month roadmap.

The initiative is expected to address the mine’s operational and financial challenges while creating a clear path toward the sustainable revival of mining activities, job protection and economic growth in the host communities.

Adamus Resources expressed confidence that the collaborative approach will help restore the mine to stable production and strengthen its contribution to Ghana’s mining sector and national economy.
