In Fomena, Ashanti Region, suspected armed bandits broke into a cocoa stockpile, stole more almost GH₵1 million, and fled before police could stop them.

Around 6:20 PM on Thursday, the Agro Ecom Company Limited Cocoa Depot in Adansi Ansah was the scene of the crime.

In addition to the large cash haul, the four masked robbers, who were armed with AK-47 rifles, targeted the facility and stole cell phones and other valuables.
