The New Force Movement, led by Nana Kwame Bediako, has denounced the act of one of his bodyguards attacking a Ghanaian during the late Mamponghene’s funeral in the Ashanti Region.
In a video that has gone viral on social media, one of Cheddar’s bodyguards, as he is known, is shown punching someone in the chest who was attending the funeral events merely to get a sight of the 2024 presidential candidate.
On social media, a number of Ghanaians expressed their inability to endure the attack and urged the Ghana Police Service to step in and guarantee the man who was struck in the chest receives justice.
The New Force Movement’s camp issued a statement denouncing the security guard’s behavior and launching an investigation to make sure the offender was held accountable.
Ghanaians were reminded that they do not support such egregious disregard for human rights.
