The Akyem Wenchi Funeral Grounds will host a one-week observance on Friday, August 29, 2025, in remembrance of the late Ernest Yaw Kumi, the New Patriotic Party (NPP) Member of Parliament for the Akwatia Constituency in the Eastern Region.
Family members, friends, coworkers, public leaders, and members of the community are anticipated to attend the ceremony, which has as its subject “My Hero Lives On,” which is scheduled to start at 7:00 a.m.
In accordance with customary mourning clothes, mourners are asked to dress in black and red.
