Two further confirmed cases of Mpox have been reported by the Ghana Health Service (GHS), increasing the total number of confirmed cases to 119 as of June 22, 2025.

According to the most recent GHS update, there have been no new deaths reported, and there are currently zero deaths overall.

Furthermore, there are currently no individuals admitted for the illness.

Previously known as monkeypox, mpox is primarily transmitted by intimate contact with an infected individual. The health authorities are still advising the public to follow safety precautions and get medical help right away if symptoms start to show.

The GHS has reaffirmed its dedication to keeping a careful eye on the situation and putting policies in place to stop the virus from spreading further.
