The 24-hour project will be started on Wednesday, July 2, 2025, according to Mr. Augustus Goosie Obuodum Tandoh, the Presidential Advisor on the 24-hour economy.

In order to strengthen the country’s value chain and increase productivity, he said, the program’s primary anchor is agriculture, which will change output.

“Production transformation, supply chain and market efficiency, and human development are the three angles that comprise the program,” he continued.

The RT Hon. Speaker Alban Sumana Kingsford Bagbin was informed of this during a courtesy call from the Presidency’s 24-hour economy office.

The group was there to propose the 24-hour economy and expedited export development agenda to the RT, under the direction of Mr. Augustus Obuodum Tandoh, its Presidential Advisor. Honorable Speaker.

Mr. Tandoh pointed out that in order for this project to succeed, some subgroups will support the three perspectives. “Grow 24 which is the agricultural component; Make 24 which is the manufacturing component; Connect 24 which is the Supply chain component; and Aspire 24 which is the Mindset change, that’s resetting the Ghanaian.”

In order to provide job possibilities, the government will also incorporate robust digital technology training into the TVET curriculum as part of Aspire 24.

According to him, a feature called “Show Ghana” would also be introduced to showcase Ghana’s rich culture to the diaspora. The objective is to increase tourism-related revenue and attract more visitors.

According to the RT Hon. Speaker’s statements, there are several job prospects.

He underlined that the 24-hour economy office must put up a lot of effort to have a bill approved by Parliament.

“This would guarantee that the policy is carried out even in the event of a change in government,” he continued.
