The thirty-year interuniversity debate in Parliament is won by KNUST.

In a debate amongst universities conducted in Kumasi to commemorate the 30th anniversary of the 4th Republican Parliament, Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology, or KNUST, came out on top.

“Should Private Schools Receive Funding From Government?” was the subject of discussion.

Kumasi Technical University scored 611 points, Wesley College scored 698 points, Akenten Appiah Menkah University of Skills Training and Entrepreneurial Development scored 740 points, and KNUST scored 826 points.
